How we work with international clients
Hiring a software studio you have never met, in a country you have never visited, is a real risk. This is how we handle the parts of that risk.
Time zones
We work from Nigeria on West Africa Time (UTC+1), between 09:00-17:00 WAT. Nigeria does not change its clocks, so the only shift in these figures is your own daylight saving. Assuming you also work 09:00-17:00 locally, here is the real overlap.
US Eastern
2-3 hours
Our late afternoon is your morning, so calls land in your working day.
UK and Central Europe
7-8 hours
Effectively a full working day side by side, immediate communications.
Outside the overlap, work carries on rather than stopping. Progress updates are sent in Slack as it happens.
How we communicate
One point of contact on our side for the life of the project, and questions answered within 24 hours on working days. Here is what that looks like in practice.
- You talk directly to the people writing the code. There is no account manager relay.
- Slack, for day-to-day questions, decisions and anything that needs a quick answer.
- Email, if you would rather keep the whole project in one searchable thread.
- Google Meet or Zoom, for scoping calls, reviews and anything easier to show than to type.
- Web work ships to a staging environment you can click through in one-week increments.
- Mobile builds reach your testers every week.
Who you will actually talk to
Pelumi Akinrele
Founder and Lead Engineer
You will deal with Pelumi Akinrele rather than an account manager. He is one of the people writing your code, which is what turns the promise above into a fact. When something needs to change, you are talking to the person who can change it.
We also run our own software in production, including Eventor, a live ticketing platform, so you can judge the standard of the work before you commit to anything.

Paying a company in another country "us" should not be the part that feels risky. Here is how the money side works.
- Invoiced in USD, wherever you are.
- Milestone-based: a deposit to start, then payments tied to delivered work.
- The total is fixed in writing before work begins.
How you can pay
- International bank transfer (wire), in USD
- Payoneer
- Paystack, a stripe company
Contracts and ownership
- You get a written scope and a fixed quote before any work starts.
- If requirements change mid-project you get a written change order to approve before the work happens. Invoice would also be updated accordingly.
- You own the code and the infrastructure from day one.
Security and how we handle access
These are the rules that access runs under.
- An NDA is signed as standard before any scoping call.
- Your code lives in a private repository inside your own organisation, not ours.
- Nobody shares a login. Every person on your project gets their own account.
- Access is scoped to what the work actually needs, and revoked when the engagement ends.
